Project description
The existing ZM3 buildings, which have served as a cold laboratory and cooling tower control room since the power plant was commissioned in 1984, showed a need for refurbishment and extension after 30 years of use. Cost-effective, sensible measures to preserve the value of the building fabric were implemented.
Building automation concept
As part of the renewal of the laboratory rooms, the various building services systems were also newly installed. A new automation station provides the necessary negative pressure in the laboratory rooms. The building automation planner also took on aspects of the technical coordination and the organisation of the integral test.
