Project description
The Kantonsschule in Olten was built in the early 1970s. After more than 40 years of operation, the entire building, including the indoor swimming pool, requires comprehensive refurbishment. This refurbishment is taking place over several years while the school remains in operation. All building services systems were dismantled and redesigned. The focus was therefore on the energy-optimised operation of the building.
Building automation concept
As part of the renewal of the school building, the building services systems were also newly installed. For control purposes, several automation stations were set up at the main load centres in the building. The installations handle the control of the various primary plants and the overarching energy management.
