Project description
A further furnace is to be added to the existing setup with two high-vacuum furnaces. The current cooling system has weaknesses in terms of efficiency and cooling time. A new concept is intended to improve the cooling capacity and specifically tap the considerable potential of waste heat recovery.
Building automation concept
GEA Ingenieure AG is responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of the building automation to control the new plant components. Additional cooling generators and consumers as well as two energy storage units are integrated into the automation system and connected to higher-level management systems.
